Spooktacular is almost here, and we need your help bringing the Halloween magic to life! From pumpkin decorating and festive games to our silly and spooky hallways, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Whether you can volunteer for a little while or lend a hand throughout the evening, every bit of help makes a difference! Events like Spooktacular are made possible by the generosity and enthusiasm of our wonderful MDIH community. Thank you for helping us create a fun, memorable evening for our students and families. We couldn't do it without you!

Truffle Shuffle Sign-Up!!

Calling All Bakers, Treat Makers & Sweet Tooth Supporters!

One of our favorite Spooktacular traditions is back, and we need your help making it extra sweet!

Our Truffle Shuffle is a Halloween twist on the classic cakewalk! Students dance and shuffle to the music, and when the music stops, lucky participants have a chance to win a delicious treat to take home!

We're inviting our wonderful MDIH families to donate treats of all kinds! From homemade cookies, brownies, and cupcakes to cakes, donuts, and other festive goodies, every contribution helps keep this sweet tradition going.

How You Can Help:

  • Sign up to donate a treat (or two!).

  • Homemade and store-bought goodies are welcome.

  • Please package treats so they're easy for winners to take home.

  • Label treats with ingredients and potential allergens whenever possible.

Thank you for sharing your creativity, generosity, and Halloween spirit with our Dragon community!

Help create a cozy, welcoming space for our youngest readers and anyone needing a little break from the excitement! Located near the Book Fair, our Reading Nook will feature fall- and spooky-inspired books. Volunteers will help supervise the space, share stories, and maintain a calm, comfortable environment.

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to read fall- and Halloween-inspired stories to our youngest Dragons and anyone who needs a quiet break from the festivities.
